DEFI &
PRE-DEFI

The defi/pre-defi program is geared towards young gymnasts who demonstrate both an interest and skill level that can propel them into the competitive sector of gymnastics. This program is based upon teaching basic technique and discipline, and helping the gymnasts to further develop their skills and talents.

REGIONAL
CIRCUIT

The regional circuit includes 3 levels of gymnastics. Gymnasts in this program progress by mastering specific skills and competencies. All gymnasts in this level participate in regional competitions where they receive scores for their artistic routines on 6 different apparatuses.

PROVINCIAL
CIRCUIT

The provincial circuit allows gymnasts to compete on four specific apparatuses. Gymnasts progress through a series of levels and master skills and competencies according to each level. This program connects the PPQC and JO programs. Gymnasts compete in a variety of province-wide competitions and are evaluated by judges at each competition.

TRY-OUTS

Group try-outs are made available throughout the year to all gymnasts who hope to explore the competitive sector of gymnastics. Private auditions are also available at a cost of 25$.

All auditions allow GYMIBIK supervisors to properly evaluate athletes and to place them in the appropriate levels according to their ability.

SPORT-ETUDES

GYMIBIK works collaboratively with various elementary and high schools in order to ensure a successful sports-etudes program. Gymnasts at this level train in the afternoons.

In order to participate in the Sports-Etudes program, an agreement needs to be made between the school and the gym. Presently, only gymnasts in the provincial circuit are eligible to participate in this program.
